Palm Sunday, April 17, 2011, was celebrated with all solemnity this year. Hundreds gathered for the Masses and processions marking Christ's triumphal entry into Jerusalem. At 9:30 am, there was an outdoor procession with the blessing of palms followed by a Latin Mass in the Ordinary Form. Later that day, a Latin High Mass in the Extraordinary Form, preceded by a solemn procession and blessing of palms. Relics of the Passion and the Holy Land, are being displayed at St. John Cantius Church.
