BLESSED Sister Elena Aiello 1895 – 1961

 Feastday not known
 Born 1895
 Died 1961

Venerable Sister Elena Aiello was born on April 10th 1895 at Montalto, Uffugo, Italy. When she became a          nun in later life she founded a Contemplative religious order, The Sister Minims of The Passion of Our   Lord Jesus Christ and presided over the sisters as Superior Geneal. A very practical and well balanced woman, Sister Elena Aiello was always open to religious and public scrutiny like Padre Pio, although her life is not well known outside of Europe. The events in her life, however, are attested to by numerous witnesses as well as by photography and scientific and medical studies. In addition to receiving the Stigmata during a vision or Our Lord like Padre Pio and Terese Neumann, Sister Elena underwent mystically the sufferings and Death of Jesus Christ, during which time her stigmatic wounds bled profusely. During one of these Passion episodes, her right hand struck the wall by her bed and the blood ran down and formed the Face of Christ on the masonite panel. This image would later bleed profusely on its own from September 29th continuously until October 13th 1955. After that time it flowed intermittently until Sister Elena died in 1961.

“The world is flooded by a deluge of corruption. The governments of the people have arisen as demons in human flesh and even though they speak of peace they prepare for war with devastating weapons that can annihilate peoples and nations….” 1

“So ungrateful have they become towards my Sacred heart and abusing my graces they have converted the world into a scene of crimes. Innumerable scandals carry souls to their ruin, especially the souls of the youth. They have given themselves without restraint to the pleasures of the world which have degenerated into perversions.” 2

“The bad example of the parents produces within families scandals and infidelities instead of practices of virtue and prayer. The home, source of faith and holiness is stained and destroyed…” 3
“The willfulness of men does not change and they stubbornly continue on their sins. The punishments and afflictions God sends to make them become reasonable are severe but men are enraged as if they were wounded beasts and harden their hearts against the grace of God…” 4

“The world no longer merits pardon, but deserves fire destruction and death. There must be much penance and prayers by the faithful to mitigate the deserved chastisement which is now destined by the intervention of my dear mother who is mother of all men. Near at hand is the scourge that will cleanse the earth of evil! Divine justice clamours for satisfaction for the many offences and evils which cover the earth. No more can be tolerated. Obstinate men hardened in their faults so not turn to God…” 5

“The people do not subject themselves to the church and despise the priests because there are so many among them who are the cause of scandals….” 6

“Listen well to what I tell you and announce it to everyone. My heart is saddened by the many afflictions of which threaten the world. The justice of our heavenly Father is gravely offended.” 7

“Men continue to live willfully in their sins. The wrath of God is near at hand. The world will be visited by great misfortunes, by bloody revolutions, by terrible hurricanes and floods of rivers and seas.”  8

“Raise your voice until the priests of God heed my messages and advise me that the time is near and if they do not convert and return to God through prayers and sacrifices the world will be involved in a new war. The dictators of world, infernal creatures will destroy the churches, profane the Holy Eucharist and destroy the most cherished and Holy things. In that pitiless war much that men have constructed will be destroyed…” 9

“Clouds with lightening rays of fire and a tempest of fire will pass over the whole world and the punishment will be the most terrible ever known in the history of mankind. It will last 70 hours. The wicked will be crushed and eliminated. Many will be lost because they stubbornly remained in their sins. Then they will feel the force of light over darkness. The hours of darkness are near…Some nations will be purified will other nations will disappear entirely…” 10

“I am bending over the world and detaining the justice of God, otherwise those things would have already happened. Prayer and sacrifices are needed. Men must return to God and to My immaculate heart, mediatrix for men, then at last part of the world will be saved…” 11

“Speak out loudly. Propagate the words everywhere as a true echo of My voice. Make them known because it will help to save many souls and impede much destruction of the church and the world…” 12

“Russia will march upon all the nations of Europe, particularly Italy, and will raise her flag over the dome of St. Peter's. Italy will be severely tried by a great revolution, and Rome will be purified in blood for its many sins, especially those of impurity. The flock is about to be dispersed and the Pope will suffer greatly….” 13

“…if people…do not return to God with truly Christian living, another terrible war will come from the East to the West. Russia with her secret armies will battle America, will overrun Europe. The river Rhine will be overflowing with corpses and blood. Italy will also be harassed by a great revolution, and the Pope will suffer terribly…” 14

“Oh, what a horrible vision I see! A great revolution is going on in Rome! They are entering the Vatican. The Pope is all alone; he is praying. They are holding the Pope. They take him by force. They knock him down to the floor. They are tying him. Oh. God! Oh, God! They are kicking him. What a horrible scene! How dreadful!…” 15

“Our Blessed Mother is drawing near. Like corpses those evil men fall down to the floor. Our Lady helps the Pope to his feet and, taking him by the arm, She covers him with her mantle saying: Fear not!'…” 16
