Pontifical High Mass at Leicester
A rare event indeed! An English bishop celebrating a Pontifical High Mass in the Extraordinary Form in his own diocese. The bishop was Rt Rev Malcolm McMahon, OP, Bishop of Nottingham. The occasion was the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, 8 December 2010 at Holy Cross Priory, Leicester. Bishop McMahon blessed the priory's new shrine to the English and Welsh martyrs after Mass.
