Pontifical High Mass at Leicester
A rare event indeed! An English bishop celebrating a Pontifical High Mass in the Extraordinary Form in his own diocese. The bishop was Rt Rev Malcolm McMahon, OP, Bishop of Nottingham. The occasion was the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, 8 December 2010 at Holy Cross Priory, Leicester. Bishop McMahon blessed the priory's new shrine to the English and Welsh martyrs after Mass. Confirmations in London, November 2010The annual Latin Mass Society Confirmations took place on Saturday, 20 November 2010 at St James's, Spanish Place, London W1. Bishop George Stack of Westminster Archdiocese carried out the Confirmations. More pictures can be seenhere.

LMS National Pilgrimage to Walsingham, 2010Saturday 13th September, Fr Patrick Hayward celebrated Mass for the LMS Annual Pilgrimage to Walsingham in the Chapel of Reconciliation at the Shrine. (This is not to be confused with the LMS Walking Pilgrimage to Walsingham which took place, for the first time, in August. In 2011 these pilgrimages will be combined.)
LMS AGM Mass, Westminster Cathedral, 2010
26th June 2010, the LMS AGM and annual Mass. It was a Pontifical Mass; Bishop Alan Hopes was celebrant. It was the Feast of SS John and Paul, martyrs, and was accompanied by the Lay Clerks of Wesminster Cathedral, directed by Martin Baker, the Master of Music, who sang the Mass 'Quarti Toni' by Tomas Luis da Victoria.
