Today, as part of the Year of Priests Clergy Conference in Rome, hosted by the Confraternity of Catholic Clergy and Australian Confraternity of Catholic Clergy, Solemn Pontifical Vespers and Benediction was offered in the usus antiquior (liturgies are, splendidly, being offered in both forms, in utroque usu, for this conference) by Archbishop Joseph Augustus Di Noia, OP, Secretary of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments. This was hosted at Ss. Trinita, the FSSP parish in Rome.
The Vespers service included plainchant from the Liber Usualis, a Magnificat by Palestrina, and the Exposition motet was Victoria's, "O Magnum Mysterium".
The NLM is very pleased to be able to present these photos from this event today.
